I just don't think much of it in its current state in terms of what sort of games i'm into. Once they start finally bringing out some big first party games and start to secure more big third party games day one, i'll think it's a great service. I've actually already paid out the remainder of the contract, so guess i've got two years of game pass. But the downside is I'm locked in on the All Access deal.

If i wasn't locked in through the All Access deal, i would definitely cancel for now. It just isn't very good at the moment for the types of games i want to play (any big ones, i've played before they get to game pass). Once Xbox finally gets some big first party games (this drought has gone on long enough) and they start getting more big third party games day one, game pass will quite good for me. A 2 minute youtube video will show me if a game is worth me trying out or not. If I'm not going to get a great experience out of a game, it isn't worth my time.

I'm fussy with my time and don't play games just because they're on game pass. The Ascent is honestly the first game coming I'm actually quite interested in. Dark Alliance might be ok, but if it's multiplayer only, i won't be playing it. MLB, Dragon Quest i have zero interest in. Outriders was a good start (although it ended up being quite an average game i didn't spend much time with). This is my personal experience with game pass, i understand some people have a wider variety of tastes in games and get a lot out of game pass. In the end it comes down to having games I'm personally interested in.
